The Funeral Attendants on the day were immaculately turned out, compassionate, respectful and very helpful. We as a family are very grateful for their service and support at a very emotional time. If it hadn't been for Fiona, I'm not sure I would actually have survived it. Her and other members of the team have gone above and beyond with their care and compassion and this has been pivotal in helping me cope at this terrible time. M “Eme” Rivas10/10/2024There are many things I could say about the wonderful Fiona at Tomlinson and Windley. We feel so fortunate to have come across such a compassionate, caring and kind lady who literally wrapped her arms around our family during the worst time of our lives. Fiona is very thoughtful experienced in her role and she does it with heart. As my dad put it, “she is definitely in the right job!” Fiona calmly explained the process involved in arranging the service, and skilfully steered us towards making those difficult decisions. Her recommendations were so helpful too! Fiona went over and above to support our family and always kept us updated. We asked many questions and had specific requests, and nothing fazed her. Fiona understood what it meant to us to make our mum’s service as personal and possible, and that it reflected our culture. Everything was perfect, and as a family we will never forget this very special lady. All the staff we came across at John Heath & Sons were sensitive, professional and warm. The conductor Colin paged the hearse, and it was very moving to see our beloved mum honoured this way. Helen Crossley16/08/2024The service we received from Fiona at Tomlinson and Windley for our Mums funeral was exceptional . With Fiona’s help to plan all aspects of the funeral and with the involvement of the cortège staff and pallbearers on the day, we felt that we were able to give our Mum the send off she deserved. We felt that our Mum was looked after with dignity and respect by all the staff involved. Fiona was always at the end of the phone throughout the planning process, making a difficult time a lot easier.
